Blue and Gold Banquet....

Ok i am trying to remember what has been happening i am a little behind this week. Wednesday was a slow day if i remember right. so not much to say.
Thursday we had orthodontist appointment. So we got in the car to leave around 9 am. It was raining here pretty good. Bit i had no idea the rest of Idaho was having a snow storm.... From Boise to mountain home there was one roll over. and from mountain home to twin there were three more roll overs. Do people just not know how to drive or what???? It snowed the whole way to Idaho Falls. the worse part of the road was in between Blackfoot and Idaho falls. that was the only spot that had slick roads. For me at least. We made it to the appointment at 3 so an hour early but they got us in and out in 30 min. so we decided to run to rexburg and drive by our house. It was funny kiana said as we were driving through the neighborhood that she didn't miss it. and a week ago she was saying she wanted to move back. Girls they can't make up their minds. The boys miss it of course well their friends.
The kids wanted to stop and say hi to their friends but we didn't have time we had to meet Tag and my dad in Idaho falls at 5:30 at pizza hut on Broadway. We beat them there so we ordered so it would be ready when they got there. While we were eating Greg and Lisa shenton came in. And then Bart and Carrie. Pretty crazy i think. after eating we went to the Clark boys district basketball game in firth. It started at 7pm. It was a good game this was the game to decide who was in second and third place. If they won they were second and then they would get to go to state. Well guess what they won!!! This will be there second year in a row of going to state in basketball. Tag's whole family will be here on Thursday. Allyn and yvonne and Bart and carrie and their two kids and Lynn and Lana will be staying with us for three days. It is going to be fun and a little packed in our house. But it will be nice to have company. the kids are excited.
We didn't get home til 2 am so i let the kids sleep in this morning. Kya had some reading to get done before school so she did that and then tag took them to school at 11am. I took Kiana at 10 am she had gotten up and got ready before everyone else. the boys were up but they didn't get ready. They were hoping that they didn't have to go.


When Keagen gets home Tag and him have to make a cake to take to the Blue and Gold Banquet tonight for scouts. That starts at 6 pm.

Windy and Cold Tuesday....

I had a meeting today at 10am in Nampa with a Karen. She was a super nice lady. I hope i will be able to help her match.
Then i ran to walmart to pick up a couple things i have had on my list for awhile.
Tag got home around 9:30 this morning he left for work yesterday at 5:30am. He is sleeping now.
PAC meeting went really good last night we got a lot of things figured out for the carnival in May. You don't realize how much work is put into things til you are involved in the process. Tag and i are in charge of Getting donations and doing the baskets for the raffle. We are teamed up with another couple thank goodness because i am not sure i could do it by myself if you know what i mean. Mrs Gilbert started a new site for all of us to chat on about the carnival it is pretty neat it is called a Wiki. I have never heard of it before last night.
It is windy here today and kinda cold. I really wish spring would show its face soon. I am tired of cold i am ready for HOT....

No More Matching....

Well the day finally came Keagen said enough is enough. He no longer wants to wear matching shirts with his brother. I guess it lasted longer then i thought. But really how many boys care what they wear? I know with my boys they have always wanted to make sure they looked good and that the shirt matched their pants. That was a tough one because Keagen would always insist that you can't wear blue pants with a black shirt. They were jeans you can wear anything with jeans. It took awhile to convince him that it was ok. And then they would have a fit if their shoe laces hung over to far. When keagen was only 2 he woudl not go anywhere until they were fixed just right. He started out early being a perfectionist. Not a good thing when it comes to school. It takes him longer to get things done because he wants them just right. I am sorry Keagen i guess i shouldn't of been so picky with you when you were little.

I ran sister Rosa to her Dr appointment in Boise today at 8 am. We got home about 12:30. The kids got home at 3pm. Kiana went to the 8th grade boys game til 6 pm. then we ate dinner and i had my PAC meeting at the school from 7pm til 8:45 pm. Tag is working at Diamond Z still. Kids are all in bed, and i am really ready to head that way.

Sunday Fun Day !!!

We all got to sleep in a little today and it was nice. Tag got up at 8:30 and had to go to work again today to finish the diamond Z project. After he left i got up and showered before i got the kids up. At 9 am i got the kids up. I had the boys get in the shower and told the girls to get ready...
I got the boys all ready and Keagen was having a break down about his hair today. Last week when i did his hair like i have done before one of the girls at school said something to him about being hit by lightening. So now he doesn't like me to put it up. Well i did today and of course he looks cute but he said i was a hobo hair doer..... I told him i would never do his hair to make him look bad i promise. I also told him the reason the girl said something is because she must like him.. The girls even told him he looked cute. He got over it thank goodness.
Graysen we left his hair down today. And it was funny in sharing time he had a talk so i had to go in and help him. One or the ladies asked where he was because she could not find him.. He always has his hair up so it is hard to recognize him when it is down. He looks like a totally different kid. one day i was walking down the street looking for him and i seen a boy that i did n;t recognize i yelled hey have you seen graysen. He looked at me and got a little closer and guess what it was him. I couldn't believe it. He did have a hat on though. And i didn't have my glasses on. I will have to post a picture of him with his hair down.
We were all ready to go by 10 am which is really nice i like to be ready early so we can get to church early.
During sacrament the young women and young men and the senior primary had to sing I Love To See The Temple. So it was just Graysen and myself left on the bench they all did a great job.
After church i was meeting sister Green she was going to introduce me to Rosa Lira a sister in our ward. I am going to give her a ride to Boise tomorrow for her Dr appointment.
Then we came home and ate lunch. And i was ready for a nap.. Kiana and Mckya were reorganizing their rooms. So i had to help haul out furniture that they have decided they don't want anymore.
I cut Keagens hair tonight. He has that kind of hair you can't let it get very long it is so thick and so much of it. anyway graysen walked in and ran as fast as he could. He doesn't like getting his hair cut. Pretty funny.
Then the boys and i read books for about 45 mins and then they brushed their teeth and we called the girls up to say family prayer and i put the boys to bed. I love 8 pm it is me time. Even though i don't do anything... I am off to bed now i have to get up and get ready tomorrow while getting the kids ready....
Oh ya keagen got called on to help in primary today to read a story and he did it all by himself and did a really good job.

Cleaning out closet and Going to State Games....

So far today i decided to clean out my closet. something that has been needing to get done for some time now..YUCK..... I like it when all of my shirts are color coordinated and in sections of short sleeve and long sleeve. crazy i know but it makes it so much nicer when you know what color you want to wear and you just have to look in that spot. I have also lost some weight lately so i need to put some of the fat clothes away hopefully for good.... and get the others where i can see them. I have noticed that i can fit into clothes that i have not worn in over a year and half. in fact tag the kids keep asking is that new And i say no i have had it just didn't fit...YAAAAAAAA they do now.
I have been counting calories like crazy and it is amazing how many you eat in one day with out realizing it. And i didn't realize how many calories are in some things like one chip has 10 calories. So you catch yourself asking is it worth it to eat that chip or do i want to save for something better and more filling. It has been work but so far it has been worth it. after i get to where i want to be i am going to start exercising more to build muscle and tone. Now i do the Wii fit once in awhile. For me it is easier to focus on one thing at a time. So far i have lost 25 pounds and i would like to lose another 25-30 to be where i am comfortable. Oh ya i have cut out one big thing that was my big hang up PEPSI now i drink more water and Diet Pepsi if i want it. I always said i would never drink that stuff but after i got use to it. it really is not bad and i don't notice the difference at all. Pretty Crazy. My best friend Summer that is all she drinks and i use to make fun of her and tell her that is gross. But she has me hooked now...... It worked for her so i figured if i could look like her then why not try it. She is crazy though she exercise for 1.5 hours 6 days a week. CRAZZZZY.... But she enjoys it i hope to be at that stage soon. i would love to have all the extra weight off by this summer. That would be 10 pounds a month for the next three months i think i can handle that i hope..Wish me luck.
Today is the West Jefferson State Championship game at 1:40 against . Kiana and i are going to go.
And then Middleton State Championship game is at 6pm against Bonneville High from Idaho Falls. I can't wait. Tag is going to try and make it to this game. He got called to work this morning at 9 am he was not happy at all he wanted to go to the games today. Last night was amazing and so much fun both game were so close and exciting. Dad said he is going to come to the games also. He was going to go to Clark district games in Firth till he watch both games with us last night and he decided it would be more fun to stay and watch the championship games. He was really getting into it. Dad and mom graduated from West Jeff so it was fun for him to watch i think.
I hope Tag can make it to the game....

We Won 48 to 47 We played Jerome tonight. We also watched the West Jefferson game and they won. On to state champs tomorrow.....
It was nice we got to see Lacey Burtenshaw. She looks good. We didn't get to talk. But i texted her we had to run to the Middleton game. But we will see her tomorrow and i will talk to her then. Her sister plays on west jeff Oakly. she is a senior and she is good. She is a really good ball handler and she has a really good shot. the skidmore girl she is only a freshman and she is amazing with her ball handling skills.
I told Kiana that she missed out on seeing her friends from Mudlake. She has made quit a few friends from mudlake through Ryliegh one of her best friends. Summers daughter. this last summer we would get all of her friend together and they would have night games and tons of food it was a lot of fun. I love having parties. So i hope that i can get my kids to liking them. I am always telling kiana lets have your friends over and have a party but she never wants to. She is not into entertaining people. one day maybe she will. Kya loves it. she is the social lite in the family. I am glad i have at least one. I think graysen might be one to. He is the one that goes out and playes with everyone in the neighborhood and gets to know everyone and i mean everyone. he has friends from 3 years old to 13 years old. Everyone knows him. Keagen is like kiana shy til he gets to know you. but he is not one to go out and meet new people they have to come to him just like kiana. those two are so much alike it is crazy. and graysen and kya are a lot alike.

State Girls Basketball Game 2-19-09

Oh my goodness these girls are really good. I love watching them it is so fun... We played Rigby last night which was fun because they are from Eastern Idaho where we are from. And Tag's sister lives in Rigby.
At half time it was 21 Middleton 14 Rigby And i am afraid there coach is going to have a heart attack he was screaming the whole time. His head was bright red it matched his shirt. haha. Those poor girls i am not sure i could play if he was my coach. They must have tough hearts. They played better in the first half then the second. I figured they would come out after half time and really kick it in but they didn't. They all looked really tired. Our girls did full court press most of the game and keep them running. The game went by way to fast i guess because it was so good. The refs were good also. I didn't hear much complaining from the crowd. That's always nice. Our high school boys dressed up like they usually do and yell the whole game it is funny. I love to see the school spirit. That's the way it should be. Rigby cheer leaders didn't cheer at all. They were sitting there. CRAZY. At the end of 3rd quarter it was 30 Middleton 18 Rigby. Any ways the final score was 41 Middleton 23 Rigby.

We play again tonight at 8 pm against Jerome. It should be a good game. I can't wait. Tags sister Lana's husband has family in Jerome. It is his sister Becky and they have a daughter on the Jerome team so it will be neat to beat them.... I hear they have a really good team.

Tag and i and the girls are going to the West Jefferson game today at 6pm at Bishop Kelly school. I am going to see if the boys can stay at a friends house. They don't enjoy going to the games. Even though they are good and don't complain much. I guess West Jeffs game last night was really good also they won by one point in double over time. They play tonight.



Yesterday was the 8th grade boys last game they played Mt Home and won. It was a close game also. Kiana went to it and kya and i went for the last half of the game. Maxes mom asked Kiana to sit by them and she said no at first but finally went she was so embarrassed. I think the only reason she did was because Kimi was with her. But maxes mom talked to kiana she said her face was red the whole time. then maxes brother mason texted her after she left and asked her why she didn't talk to him. i think she is afraid of him. I guess maxes mom is the relief society pres. so all the ladies in presidency know all about her. They seem like they have a really nice family. Max is very shy. But so is Kiana when it comes to boys. I guess his mom has been asking him to invite her over and he says no mom that would be weird. The funny thing is i have asked her to invite him over and she says the same thing. I have jokingly told her that he is going to be the one she marries... He is soo cute and sweet and has good morals and values. A really good LDS family. I will laugh if it does come true. I guess we will see in about 10 years.

Graysen's little girl friend Hailey told someone that she loved him. Remember she is in second grade and he is in first grade. and she sleeps with he cow he gave her every night. He smiles when you say anything about her. He reminds me a lot of his dad.... And they look so much alike.
Keagen had a girl that was kicking him in the shins everyday now she is not and he told me why. He said that if she comes close to him he rubs his hand under his arm pit and holds his hand out and says sweaty arm pit. and she runs i told him he better quit or no girl is ever going to like him. That is so gross. but i guess it keeps the girls from kicking him. He laughs. I am sure it will all change soon and he will be doing everything he can to be with the girls. He is so dang cute those eyes I Love them. You can always tell what he is thinking by looking at his eyes.

Kya thanks goodness has stayed far away from boys. I think having her in an all girl class helps. I really wish that they did the all girl and all boy classes clear through high school. I think they learn better and don't have all the distraction. Kya looks like she has grown some these past couple of months. Ali seen a picture of her and couldn't believe how much she has changed.

Busy Day

well today started off normal except i had to get ready for the day.....ugh... But it was all good. Got the kids ready folded laundry, sweeped the kitchen picked up, and made my bed. Then i took all the kids to school at 8am. and headed to lances house to watch Mckenzie for them. I found out their schedule for the rest of the week. Nathan was already heading to school when i go there at 8:30 am. Mckenzie ate some breakfast while lance told me what his plan was. then we went to the kids school to make sure they had after school reading group. that's when i noticed what kenzie had on. Her mom would of never let her go out of the house in the pants she had on. I am pretty sure she dressed herself. But Lance did a pretty good job doing hair. We ended up going back to her house and getting her different pants on. Then we ran to walmart to pick up a couple things for dinner. and Took Tag a pop and a donut. Then we headed to my house. Kenzie is not feeling well she has a cough and a stuffy nose. So i gave her some cough medicine and it has helped but i noticed she is getting a little tired. so i called her dad and told him that she did not want to go to school. I would not of sent my child to school like that so i figured i better ask him first. And guess what she didn't have to go. She said she likes being at my house. how sweet. I think she is just excited for the kids to come home..And they are all excited to. The kids should be here around 2 today it is early out then we are going to get Nathan at 3:45 in meridian. and bring him back here til lance is off work.

Today i had to run to nampa and pick up some art supplies for Keagen's scout project. And you will never guess what happend to me... I got pulled over and got a ticket. He was super nice of couse he just got an extra 75 out of me. And no i was not speeding he said i turned into the wrong lane.

i made it in time to pick up keagen from school. He had enough time to eat a little and start the poster before heading to scouts.
Yvonne Walker came over to help Kiana with her back bend. and tell her what she will need to to get ready for cheerleading try outs. Thats if she decides to.
Then i had to go visiting teaching at 6:30 i got home at 7:30.
Kya went to the Y with the walker family. They went swimming and played basketball. She didn't get home til 9pm.

These are pictures from mom's trip from Vegas to Texas. Mom and Lynette stopped and visited their aunt Emily and her daughter Julie and Jimmy and Dimmpy. Grandma Dodges sister and brother -Sister Emily brother Jimmy. Grandma Dodge passed away 10 years ago. A couple of hours before mckya was born. 7-10-98 Mckya was born 7-11-98 2:30am. So i think they passed on her way here and grandmas way to heaven. Another funny thing is that tag and i started dating on her birthday 19 years ago. pretty crazy. She was the oldest out of her family then it is Jimmy and then Emily.


This morning when i got the boys up to get ready for church Graysen had this terrible cough like he had last year where we had to take him to the emergency room because he couldn't breath. They said his air way tube is small so when it gets inflamed it closes it off so he can't breath. So after his shower i had Kiana stay home with him today. In Sacrament we had some really good talks and shantel wood sang a beautiful song. I really enjoyed it. Then we headed to primary to teach our class the lesson. and go to singing time to do sharing time with our class. Surprisingly it went real well.
Sister Larsen was at sacrament today she looked real good. But you can tell that she is not the same. We said hello to her. She had to keep getting up and leaving to walk around. I guess they say she has the mentality of a five year old. But hopefully things will get better soon for her. She seems to be doing better each day. I like to read her blog and get the daily updates.
Kiana had dinner done when we got home from church it was really nice not to have to worry about doing that.
The kids don't have school tomorrow so they stayed up a little late. I hope that they are not grouchy in the morning. I am going to have the kids go through all of their clothes and get rid of the ones that they don't wear. I really need to go through all of mine too.

Happy Valentines Day

today was a slow start for me because Mckya stayed at her friend Brookes house last night. Well part of the night anyway. I received a phone call at 1:30 am i thought i was having a dream until i finally realized it was the phone. I answered it and it was Kya she said mom katie and i are the only ones awake and we are hungry. My first reply is kya go to bed. she wanted me to come pick them up. i said give it a little bit and call me if you still want me to come. She texted me and said we are going to stay we will put in a movie and go to sleep. Oh ya she said they were not tired. but i knew better it was 1:30 in the morning. So i texted back and said hurry and close your eyes and you will be asleep before Katie. She does not like anyone to go to sleep before her. I didn't hear anything else from her. I said thank goodness back to sleep i go. well the phone rings again at 3:15 am. And of course it scared me. i answer it and it is kya crying that she is scared and will you come get me. so i say yes i will be there in a min. i get up and before i can even get to the garage she calls me two more times asking if i have left yet...... i said i am just getting in the car i will be there in a min. i get in the car and start to drive realizing i forgot my glasses... i can barley see in the day with out them let alone at night. but i knew i had to hurry she had called again by then. and looking at the time i knew the bars in town had closed so there were a lot more cops out and about. and to top it off it was snowing.... I can't see, there are more cops out then usual, and it is snowing. Great Fun..... I finally get there at 3:30 am and she texts me and says hold on i am getting my shoes. hello you new i was coming. come to find out she was waking up her other friend to come home with her. Not Cool. I still haven't figured out why she did that unless she didn't want to tell them she was scared. anyway we get home and kya and her friend make a bed on the floor in her room and i hear the front door open i t was her friend going home. so i go in and ask kya whats going on and katie called her mom to tell her where she was so she said to come home. kya didn't even tell me so i could walk her home kya said she is fine she is not afraid of the dark. what a nice friend kya is... By the way Brooke lives about 5 miles give or take away from us. I told her no more sleep overs that i have to drive to close by walking distance fine but no more long distance ones. She has done this to me before. but she has stayed at a couple of her Friends house here in the neighborhood so i thought she was good to go. NOT.... At night she likes me to leave my bed room door open so she can see light. and to make sure we are still awake before she goes to sleep. She wants to be asleep before us. And she has us check her closet every night before bed.

So this morning i slept in til about 10am. then i got ready to go get Kiana at her friends house. Dad called and wanted to go meet in Boise to eat with Steven and christian and himself. But by the time i got back from getting Kiana we would have been late so we cancelled. I ran to walmart to get the kids some valentines presents. I ended up getting the guitar hero world tour for the wii and an extra guitar. They have been playing it all day. While i was at walmart dad showed up at the house. He stayed for a couple hours and then went home.
Then Tag and i took a nap. till about 6:30 pm. We planned on going to the boys last basketball game of the season and it was at 7pm. They played against Columbia they are from Nampa. We won it was a close game all four quarters. They start district tournament this week sometime. Here in Middleton. The game got over at 9:15 pm. And we hadn't eaten so we were trying to figure out where to eat. We ended up just going to Denny's close by we were tired. and we needed to get home and get our sharing time done for church tomorrow. Well it is today now...
I talked to mom today and it sounds like the weather in Texas is still nice they were BBQing today. Ronnie (cousin) and his kids were coming over for the day. And Tittles is loving it there with all the other animals that my aunt has. and the warm weather.

The Lady Vikes WON District tonight. The score was 40-34 It was a great game. They play in state on Thursday at Moutainn View High School. Last year they were State Champs. So hopefully there will be a repeat again this year. The turn out was amazing. It was packed tight. Kiana, Keagen, and graysen and i came early and watched the game before, between Emmett and Mt Home. Thank goodness we did go early because there was seating then. I took pictures to show how full it was. Kya went to her friends game at the heights. They won also. Way To Go Girls..... I have not ever seen a team that plays as well as they do together.

Kiana is staying at her friend Makayla's house tonight. And Kya is staying at her friend Brooke's house with katie. So i am going to guess we are going to have very tired and grouchy girls tomorrow. Boys and Tag are in bed and asleep already. So i am off to join them.. Have a great night.

Today was the kids school Valentines Parties and i went and helped a little in each class or watched in some. I took some pictures of the kids. All i seen was a lot of sugar. and a lot of kids that are going to be super hyper.
I went and gave Haily her Valentine present from Graysen. She was a little surprised. I showed her mom before i gave it to her and she thought it was cute.
In the mail today Grandma handy (mom) sent the kids some valentines cards. Cute. She is still in Texas but just seeing the little note made me really miss her. I guess you don't realize how great you have it til they are gone right. I haven't talked to her as much since she has been gone. i like to let her visit people when she goes other places so i don't call much. I guess the weather is really nice and everything is green. That would be nice. It is cold here today. the wind has been blowing.

Max gave Kiana a big bottle of lotion called PINK (smells really good) and some See's Candies (Yummy) for Valentines. How cute.

I slept most of the day because of my late night last night. Then i decided i better go get the kids cupcakes for their class parties for tomorrow. Kiana took a little nap after school before the game and i took a picture to show.
I hurried home so i can pick keagen up after school, and then get dinner done before the high school boys game at 6 pm. Dad was at my house when i got their. He was going to go to the game tonight but then decided he would go home after eating dinner with us. He has a tough time being in one place for to long. He got to my house around 3:20 and left at 6 pm to go home. I think if he would of came later he might of gone to the game. But i guess he has to go to American Falls tomorrow for a meeting.
Anyways Sam and Alyssa came to the game they go their right before the varsity team started. It was a really good game we won 60 something to 30. Sorry i forgot the score once i left. But it was a big spread.
Tag just got home from New Meadows, and it is 10 pm. He even left early this morning. He is still sick with a head cold no wonder he has been working non stop and not getting much sleep.

Shopping !!!

After school Kiana had her friend come over to work on there science project.. They had to decorate a shirt about Cooper. Well of course we had to go get supplies. So i gather up all the kids after home work was done. And we were off to shop. We ended up getting all the supplies at Micheal's.
Since we were going out i decided to get the younger kids valentines cards for school. If that isn't enough to drive you crazy. For some reason everyone one of my kids have a tough time making up their minds. Graysen bought his little girlfriend a stuffed cow and some candy. cute and he picked out some ribbon for kiana to make her some bows for her hair. VERY CUTE..... Kiana found out what maxes favorite candy was so we went to Costco and bought him a big box of three musketeers candy bars and a big bag of Swedish fish. then tonight she bought him a cute card with a fuzzy lion on it.

On another note i have been working on my weight for awhile now and i have hit the dreaded Plato...... i have been stuck at this weight for a good couple of weeks and it is driving me crazy. I keep track of the calories i eat each day and i think the problem is that some days i don't even come close to the amount i am supposed to eat. but if i am not hungry it is hard to eat. but i guess i better start. or i am not going to lose the rest of this weight. i want to lose another 25 at least. i joined a biggest loser club with a bunch of ladies that talk to on a site and we have our first weigh in on Friday. So i am going to have to start exercising then i don't dare now til we weigh in. better chance if i wait til after Friday.
I helped the boys get their valentines ready for their party at school on Friday. And Kya made hers up to.
Tag was able to get home at a decent time tonight and we went to bed at 7 p. Kiana, Mckya and myself went to the high school to watch a basketball game tonight. We thought that there was a boys game tonight and found out that it was district tournament for the girls. We ended up leaving because they told us that our girls were not playing tonight. They play on Friday. Tomorrow there is a boys game they play against Kuna i can't wait it is going to be good. Tag has to work at New Meadows so he is not able to go. but he is going to go to the last boys game on Saturday.
Kiana and i ran to walmart at 9:30 tonight to pick up a couple things and ended up staying til 11:45. WAY TO LATE... I am off to bed now. Have a great day.

8th Grade Boys

Today we went to the 8 Th grade boys basketball game in Kuna. It was really good. To bad the refs were terrible. i don't think i have seen any this bad in a long. they would call a foul on kuna and give them the ball. And then they would call fouls on a player that was not even near the ball. I even heard some of the kuna people comment on the calls that they were not fair. Anyway we ended up losing by 8 points. But they did a great job.
Sam and Katie went with us. We stopped at taco bell on our way home since it was late and we missed dinner. We got home at 8pm. We got the kids teeth brushed and said family prayer and off the bed the three younger ones went.
I colored Sam's hair today. we did blond highlights. looks good.
Tag is working late tonight finishing up the new meadows panel. He went to work at 4:30 am and it is 10 pm and i called him and he said he is going to be late. I bet he is beyond tired. no wonder he is sick.

Monday Snow Yuck !!!!

The kids made it on time for the bus today first time in a while. They like me to drive them for some reason. So they will find everything possible to make it so i have to drive them each morning. They can be ready 30 Min's before the bus comes but they will stall long enough not to make it. It really frustrates me. Luckily we only live 1/2 mile away.

Dad went to the Dr and his sugar is down to 172 which is really good. he still has to up his insulin a couple more times to get it under complete control. He doesn't have to go back for two more weeks.

Sam and dad came to Nampa to give Kaluwa to a lady. she decided that she is not able to take care of her. The lady has a 4 month old puppy already. Sam said that Kaluwa was doing great when she left. But the lady called a bit later to tell her that she was at the door whining for her.
She will be fine i say just give her a couple of weeks to get use them.

While i was looking through craigslist tonight i seen an ad for the same dog Sam gave away today. and guess what it was the same dog. so i called to see if the lady was asking for money. and she wasn't she just said her husband said no. Don't you think she should of asked before having Sam bring her clear from my home to Nampa..... The ad did not last long so she must of gotten rid of her quick. I just hope she is happy in her new home.



Dad and Sam came to the shop to meet tag and i for lunch. We went to lunch at the Golden Dragon, I was surprised it was pretty good. I think the kids might like it. they have a variety of food Chinese and American.



Tag showed them the panel he is working on. They should be done with it by Tuesday night. maybe i will get some pictures of what he does and put it on. That way you have a better idea of what it is that he does.



Kiana is feeling a lot better, but tag is still sick. He went to bed early tonight about 9pm. I am trying to find a place for Kiana to learn her back bend and back flip before March sometime. She wants to try out for cheer leading in April. And to be able to go right on to the JV you have to be able to do you back bend. I just hope if she makes it that she will stick with it all of high school. She has a real tough time sticking to things.



I talked to mom today and sounds like they had a great visit with her aunts and uncle in Farmington, New Mexico. They were on the road to Texas today. They should of gotten to Lynette's house around 5 or 6 pm. They are going to send me some pictures to post about their trip. I can't wait to hear all about it and see family that i have not seen since i was real little.



My visiting teacher came this morning first time in a year. It was snowing today. I could of sworn that the news said it was going to be 50 today. Well it wasn't at all. It was really cold out. I guess it is going to snow for a couple of days..YUCK. I am so ready for summer.

Trip to Rockland

We went to Rockland to watch The Clark County boys basketball team. It took a little longer then we were thinking it was going to. But it was a lot of fun the boys did real good. We have four nephews on the varsity team. Dax and Bodie are juniors and Cade is a freshman. I think the final score was 44Rockland and 48 Clark County but don't quote me on that. They play again this coming week and if they win they will go into districts in 2nd place. Good Luck Boys.
It had been years since Tag and i had been to Rockland for basketball.
It was nice to be able to see all of Tags family. We took Sam with us and Kiana brought her friend Makayla. We got home at 2:20 am. Tag and i slept in til 11 am. We were so tired. on the way home Tag was making me laugh so hard that we were both crying and my stomach and side hurt so bad.
I took Tag to work today because he left his car at work yesterday. He is still working on the new meadows panel.
I was really lazy today did some laundry and took a nap. The boys played outside all day long it was really nice here. It was in the 50's the boys were in shorts.
Kiana slept all day long she is sick she has been coming down with a cold. Mckya she is at her friends house for her sisters birthday party.

So far the day has been busy...I went on a field trip with Mckya and her class the the Theater Down town Boise. We watch some silent movies while and orchestra played... i loved it and the kids seemed to enjoy it also. Martian is coming home with mckya on the bus today to play for awhile.

Tag's parents are coming and staying the night with us tonight.. It is Allens birthday today. Happy Birthday Grandpa May. And then they are heading to a basketball game in Rockland.

We are really excited to spend some time with them. We are going to take Grandma and Grandpa May to dinner at the Texas Road House For grandpa's birthday...

Tuesday

Well today was and uneventful day in the may house hold. The kids went to school and i cleaned like usual.

Tag went to work at 6:30am. and is working on drawings the prints for the panel he is building for new Meadows.

After school kiana went to a basketball game til 6:10pm. Mckya played with her friend Jocelyn til 7 pm. Keagen had after school program then he had scouts til 5pm. Graysen played with porter til 7pm.

Then we had dinner a little late tonight we were waiting for Tag to get home. After dinner we all watched the Biggest Loser. Then we said family prayer and off to bed we all went. Tag had to get up early

What A Wonderful Day

Today it has been 19 years since Tag and I have been together....... It seems just like yesterday. Time flies when your having FUN!!! We have been married 15 years this last November.

Friday my dad found out he is a diabetic. So i went to the Dr with my dad and helped him figure out the lingo. They decided to up his insulin every 3-4 days til his sugar level gets to 130. Right now he is at 300 which is a lot better then Friday it was in 470's. He seems optimistic about it. I hope it stays that way.

My mom is in Vegas visiting Ali and Larry and their little pants Peyton. And she is loving the nice weather. And her sister is flying in Tuesday and staying a couple of days and then they are going to go on a road trip to Texas...Sounds like fun to me. They are going to stop and see some family they have not seen in years. I think it will be a great vacation for my mom and her sister Lynette. Have Fun Girls!

The weather here today is sunny and nice in fact i turned the cool air on in the car.

Tag didn't get home til 1 am last night. He is really tired today and ready to get home and go to bed. We are just happy that he is keeping busy with work. Everyday you hear of someone else that has lost their job. I am praying the economy changes soon.

The kids had a great day at school. They all got their report cards last week and they are all getting A's and B's they are doing great....We are so proud of them...

Keagen has decided that he is going to wear shin guards to school tomorrow. I guess their is a girl that keeps kicking him at recess. I am guessing she like him. Who wouldn't he has the most contagious smile.

Graysen is still talking about a girl he likes and i asked him tonight if he wants to get her a valentines present and he replied NO with this embarrassed look on his face.... the other day he said that he told a girls that he had a crush on her and she told him that she had a crush on him. remember he is only in 1st grade. So the next day he said he asked her out. We asked him what he said " Do You Want To Go Out That's All" it was so cute. i think his older sister Kiana had a lot to do with him asking her out.

Mckya she keeps herself busy doing her homework and playing with her friends. Her teacher and family moved in next door in November. She has become really good friends with her daughter Katie. They spend a lot of time together doing homework and playing school.

Kiana well she is another story she is going through all the teen girl emotions. CRAZY!!! She is on the run all the time. with basketball games and get together with friends. And of course BOYS she is a heart breaker. you give her a mirror and she is in heaven..... well anything she can see her own reflection in...... lol

Weekend Fun!!

Friday Night - Well we had a very exciting weekend. I took Kiana and her friends out for a night of fun. they decided to go T-P a couple of friends. We decided that they picked the wrong house. Kiana and her friends ended up going back Saturday and cleaning up a Big mess. It was a good learning experience for Kiana and her friends.... But it was fun!!!

Tag has been working hard all weekend. In fact he is still at work now and it is 11:33pm Sunday night.
Church was good it was packed during sacrament the Viewig family blessed their baby boy. and their was two girls who were baptised yesterday. Class went good it was a fun lesson. Keagen did a great job during sharing time he did the closing prayer.

I colored the girls hair tonight before bedtime. They both look cute. I will post pictures later......

We have a busy week ahead of us. Tags parents are going to be in Boise this week for some classes. they are planning on staying with us Thursday night and heading to Rockland Friday for a basketball game. We are looking forward the visit with them.....
